What next?

If you have believed that JESUS is God’s Son and your Saviour and that God raised Him from the dead then we are very glad! You have begun a new life that will never end!

Here are some things you should do:

  1. Tell somebody. Belief is proved if you confess it with your mouth. Speak to anyone who knows you about this Jesus whom you now have believed on.

  2. Start to learn about this wonderful new life by reading John’s Gospel (John was the disciple who was closest to Jesus and was an eyewitness of His life, works, death, and resurrection). His words will help you live a godly life. You can read John's gospel on this site by clicking here.

  3. Find a group of others who have already believed in the LORD JESUS. This is necessary for the following reasons:

    • You need more teaching from the scriptures that is beyond the scope of a website. God provides experienced believers to help and encourage you in your new life. You will have the opportunity to worship Jesus with other believers. You will share the love that comes from being part of God’s family.

    • You must be baptised. Baptism is the full immersion of your body in water by another believer. It is a mark of your identification with the death and burial of Jesus. It signals to all the end of your belonging to the world of sin. As you come up out of the water it is a sign that you now share in the resurrection life of Jesus by His Spirit which lives in you. Baptism cuts you off from the pull of your old life and sets you apart for your new life in Jesus. It is God’s command that all who have turned away from their old life and have believed on Jesus, be baptised.

      It will also ready you to be filled with God’s Holy Spirit: Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38b)
